Come to think that today is the first day in another new year, it really is weird. =S. You could label everything as first of the year : first bath of the year, first haircut of the year or even the first time opening your eye in the year.
But the first thing I got in the new year was getting my white shoe pink-ed by chemicals. Yes, yesterday went to countdown at Sunway Pyramid with Honvee , Jason , Munyee , SengZhen , Hanjin , Wei Loong , Nelson. We were sitting at the Sunway Lagoon entrance while waiting. The wait was long so we decided to get some drinks from Jusco, I bought the alternate caffeine source besides Nescafe, that is Pepsi. And the logo looks pretty weird, some thing like pirated Pepsi by Jusco.
12 am, everybody was like "Woohh!! Happy New Year!!" And sprayed the aerosol can thingy , but tour group of DSLR-ians was sitting there waiting for the fireworks. Finally the fireworks started, but it was not where we expected. After looking around we realized it was behind the castle thing and it was *snap snap snap*. Shuttle speed was spammed with long exposure while everybody go crazy (correct me if I'm wrong, I don't speak DSLR language). Everybody was nervous while I lied down and slowly took pictures with my Digital 2.0 Megapixel Camera, D2MC. Hey this is quite popular too, it can take picture quality unachievable by DSLR before editing.
After the fireworks we went walking around while more and more people went back. My watch showed 1am. In the end those left was me , Hanjin and MunYee at MacD. Mun Yee showed her pictures on her Mac book while speaking DSLR language. I was a total outsider, the only phrase I understand was "Yours don't have the circle thing de?".
1.30 am, i walked back home alone since Mun Yee's transport will not pass by my housing area. Oh and I also learnt that the "Queenie" on my contact list was her . =P. Regretted drinking finish my Pepsi cause I was unable to enter dreamland due to too much caffeine. At least I did my first countdown with friends, unforgettable.
